Call for poster contest "Por Girasoles"

PROMOTING ENTITY
Association of Patients with Sarcomas and Rare Tumors of Aragón (hereinafter "Apsatur Aragón"), with address at Calle Carlos Saura, 19, 4ºD, 50018 Zaragoza, with registration in the ReGeneral Registry of Associations of the Autonomous Community of Aragon with the number 01-Z-5477-2018 and with NIF G99529398.
Apsatur is a non-profit association that brings together patients, relatives, people aware of and/or interested in promoting and improving the situation of those affected and their environment, present and future.

PURPOSE OF THE CONTEST
The contest for the Festival "Por Girasoles" aims to design the poster that will be used to announce the festival and invites those interested in participating in the Advertising Poster Contest to present your work, you must comply with the following

TERMS:
​
1. PARTICIPANTS
This is an open contest aimed at students, designers, artists and creators of any nationality. Therefore, as many people as are interested may participate in it, individually or as a team, each of them being able to present a maximum of one poster per author.
​
2. THEME
1. The theme will be "la Feria de Abril" and the visibility of Ewing's sarcoma with an informative nature through images of sunflowers (the symbol for sarcoma is the sunflower).
2. In the works presented, the following text must appear clearly visible:

In support of Ewing's Sarcoma research.

3. The design must have a free space for the subsequent insertion of the logos of sponsors and/or collaborating companies.
4. Only unpublished works that have not been presented to other festivals will be admitted to this contest. In the event that images or plagiarism of images from other authors or institutions have been used, the author will be solely responsible for any incident that may occur for these reasons, and the work will be withdrawn immediately.

3. PRIZE
- 1st prize: 400 euros and publication of the poster to promote the gala.
- 2nd prize: 100 euros.
- 3 prizes from the jury consisting of two tickets for the drive-in Madrid.
In addition, a certificate of participation will be given to the ten best classified.
​The prize will be awarded during the festival on April 22, 2023.

4. SUBMISSION AND DEADLINES
1. The authors who submit to the contest must make their design in PDF format, they must also provide an editable version.
Submission deadline: March 12, 2023 at 11:59 p.m GMT +01:00
2. Registration will be made through the form on this website through which they will upload the files in the required formats.
3. The organization will send an email confirming the receipt of the registration and materials. Participants may not publish the posters until the week after the day the winning poster is announced.

5. JURY AND DECISION
The jury will be made up of:

The jury's decision will be made public on the Competition website on March 22, 2023, also notifying the winner of the competition.
The decisions of the jury will be final. The contestants, by the mere fact of participating in this contest, expressly waive the exercise of all kinds of claims against their resolutions.

6. AWARDED POSTER
The author of the winning poster must provide the necessary elements, fonts and files in final size and 300 dpi. If they were digital image, by layers. In case of vectorial origin, open. All this with the intention of being able to adapt your work to the different supports, formats and applications necessary for the promotion and dissemination of the charity festival.

7. PROPERTY RIGHTS
The author of the selected design grants exclusively to the "Por Girasoles" festival the exploitation rights of the winning work without any type of limitation, covering all types of exploitation and without limitation territorial, temporary or of any other nature.

8. ACCEPTANCE OF THE BASES AND DATA PROTECTION
Participation in this contest implies full acceptance of these rules, without any reservations, as well as all resolutions adopted by the organization of the Charity Festival.
Participants in this contest consent to their personal data being processed in accordance with the provisions of Organic Law 15/1999, of December 13, on the Protection of Personal Data, for the development of this contest, as well as to communicate news, news and information in general about the contest and the festival.
